Frozen

So today my best friend took me to see Frozen to cheer me up and by god did it!
I'm always sceptical about Disney films that are out recently but this is just so good, also the queens Ice costume is amazing, totally in love with in and I hope that one day that I could make it.

Costume Designers

Alexandra Byrne

Alexandra Byrne was the costume designer for one of my favourite films The Avengers. I've chosen Alexandra because working for Marvel or DC comics is what I'm wanting to pursue. Alexandra has also done many other costumes for productions such as, Elizabeth, Elizabeth the Golden Age, Finding Neverland and Hamlet. Four which she was nominated  for an Academy award.

Alexandra was also nominated for a Tony Award in 1990 for the scenic design for Some Americans Abroad.

Michele Clapton

Michele Clapton is a costume designer for a top hit series Game of thrones, where she won an award for Creative Arts for her second series on the programme.

Again period dramas is another thing I am interested in doing as well as film. Michele has also worked for Film and TV such as The Devils Whore, The Diary of Anne Frank and Sense & Sensibility.

Jean Louis

Jean Louis, born Paris 1907, Hollywood Academy award winning costume designer.

 Jean Louis was the costume designer for the film Gilda and is well known for Rita Hayworth's strapless gown that was worn on set.

Before Jean went into the world of costume he worked in New York for the designer Hattie Carnegie.

 Jean was a very famous designer was known for his very elegant and stunning gowns.

Jean was the designer for the very famous dress that Marilyn Monroe wore while singing Happy Birthday to JFK.
