Major plans!

This is my first post in awhile so i'm going to start off with basic ideas for my Final Major Project, which is scarily going to be starting in less that a month!

Although I am only just finishing my minor project and dissertation at the momen alot of ideas have been going through my head about possible ideas for my major.

From the beginning of my course I've always wanted to make a Tsar (a russian court jacket) underneath are some explames of the styles which I love.

So looking on further into Russian court attire, I came across the russian court dress which I've fallen in love with.

So with my Russian theme, i've also had to take into consideration I have to design for a character, so I may possible design for the book Anna Karenia.

I've been working at my local theatre, Sunderland Empire as a dresser, luckily my first ever job was dressing for Wicked which was amazing and has influenced my minor project. However my second job was to dress for Swan Lake for the Birminghm Royal Ballet whose costumes were AMAZING.
Some of the costumes which I was dressing for gave me more influence for my Major, unfortunetly I couldn't get professional photo however I managed to get sneaky photos of the outline of one of the dresses.
