I managed to get last minute tickets to see the stunning theatra verion of The Lion King. Everyone in their lifetime and especially their childhood has grown up watching the Disneys Lion Kings and it's a family film everyone loves and can sing along too.
The theatre musical of the lion king is now onto it's 15th successful year and is sold out world wide on every tour.
The costuming and stage design is beautifully constructed to show every characters important role.
Julie Taymor is the director, costume and stage designer and worked along Elton John for music.
The Lion King so far has been one of the best musicals i've seen on stage and would recommend anyone who can get tickets to do so, worth every penny.
